Arc supplemental terms
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms add to the Sanctum Terms of Service (https://sanctum.company/terms) when you use Arc. Words defined there mean the same here.
1. A wellness product, not a medical device
Arc helps you understand your training, sleep, recovery, food and habits. It is a general wellness product, not a medical device. Arc does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or manage any disease or condition, and it doesn’t give treatment or dosing advice. It never tells you how much of a medicine or supplement to take.
When Arc says a reading is “worth a clinician’s look”, it means only that a value sits outside a range, such as your lab’s own range. It is not a diagnosis.
Arc is not meant for managing diabetes or any other medical condition. Don’t use its glucose views or any other part of Arc to make treatment decisions, such as insulin doses.
If you think you have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
2. Arc’s AI is not a health professional
Arc’s briefings, reviews and Ask Arc’s answers are written with AI. Arc’s AI is not a doctor, nurse, dietitian, therapist or any other licensed health professional, and nothing in Arc means it is. Its words may be wrong or incomplete.
3. Talk to a clinician first
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, take medication, or have symptoms, talk to a qualified clinician before you change your training, diet, fasting, sleep or supplements because of anything Arc shows you. Stop exercising and get help if you feel pain, faintness, chest discomfort or shortness of breath. You choose how hard to train and what to eat or take.
4. Your devices and data sources
Arc’s numbers are only as accurate as the data behind them. Readings from Apple Health, your Apple Watch, Oura, Withings, a glucose sensor, lab results you import, and what you log yourself can be missing, delayed or wrong, and Arc’s scores and trends are estimates built from them. Each device and service is governed by its maker’s own terms.
5. Your health data
Arc’s Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (https://sanctum.company/health-data) explains how Arc handles your health data. Accepting these terms is not your consent to collect it or to send it to Arc’s AI providers. Arc asks for those separately, and you can withdraw them.
